YOUTIO / TECHNOLOGY GLOSSARY
Free-to-play, giveaways and free weekends
A free-to-play game, a permanent-license giveaway and a limited trial are different offers.
Check the entitlement
Free-to-play describes a business model. A giveaway can grant a license if claimed during a specified period.
Read the end conditions
A free weekend or subscription access does not automatically grant a permanent game license. Check the official store dates and conditions.
