YOUTIO / TECHNOLOGY GLOSSARY
What is VRAM?
VRAM is the video memory used by a graphics card to hold rendering data.
What it stores
Textures, image buffers and other rendering resources use video memory. Insufficient capacity can cause problems at some settings.
Capacity is not a performance score
More VRAM does not automatically mean higher FPS. Architecture, memory bandwidth, resolution and the workload also matter.
